About Experience
With us you can enjoy our homemade drinks in garden with the view od pier peninsula Vranjina fishing village from my grandparents house terrace and sounds of swallows which have nests under my balcony. I will tell you stories about life in my old fishing village Vranjina (former island), national park wildlife, Skadar lake legends and general informations. You can get ready to board the boat in my house and than we jump in boat and start the tour. The boat itself is a traditional cozy fishing boat, adding a unique charm to the tour.
On tour we will slowly drift through the calm waters, surrounded by stunning views of mountains and nature. This boat tour is not only a peaceful and scenic way to explore Lake Skadar but also a chance to connect with a local who genuinely cared about his home and its traditions, if you are looking for an authentic and enriching experience.
The wind, the little waves and the sounds of nature are very relaxing as you glide over the water. You will enjoy sightseeing, swimming and sunbathing on nice natural beach which could be reached only by boat. We visit the lake islands and pass by Lesendro fortress. You will see beautiful river mouth in the lake, with gorgeous nature – water lilies, huge old willows, bulrush, reed, water caltrop, ducks and birds more than 250 species. We will go through narrow paths that are fishing trails through the most beautiful areas of the lake that only my fishing boat can pass through.
When return back to Vranjina village my mother can prepare fresh wild fish for you in traditional way, served with salads, bread and drinks, if desired by the guest (additional service not included in price).

About us
I am Dražen and I am hosting this experience for years, together with my parents – mom Sofia (she cooks) and dad Dragan (experienced fisherman and skipper). I grew up in Vranjina village in grandfathers old house. We use traditional fishing boat for fishing and I came to an idea to do lake trips on it because it is unique and reminds me on gondolas in Venice. Also, nickname for my village is “Little Venice” ☺ We will give our best to show you warm welcome and hospitality that people from Montenegro are known for, lake beauties and village cuisine.

This is additional / optional offer which many guests ask for and can be added after boat tour. As a family of fishermans we always have many different wild fishes from the lake that we cought and we can prepare nice „Catch of the day“ plate, served with salads of seasonal vegetables, bread and drinks: juice, beer and wine.
